Finally done with BBJX! Very timely in fact given that exams are just in a week's time... Was intending to catch up this show AFTER exams initially cuz exams were round the corner. But apparently one fine afternoon with me having nothing to do at home... Yeah you get the idea

This show made me realize there's still some humanity deep down within me (TOLD YOU I'M NOT BORN A GIRLY GIRL). I'm someone who doesn't show much affection towards shows with sad scenes and all. But this show, even though is some Qing dynasty historical blah show made me likewise than the usual me. Prolly the mixture of fightings, bromance and even romance made it different as compared to the norms.

Okay I'm one happygirl/boy now. I can finally sleep in peace and YES! FREAKING GEAR UP FOR MY UPCOMING YEAR END EXAMINATIONS. LIYING COME ON YOU CAN DO IT \m/

I'm still pondering what I should do on Valentines day. I know I said it before that I don't really particularly celebrate this occasion.. But prolly that made it even more a reason why I wanna celebrate it so badly now? For all my past years of living.. blahblahblah more to come but uh~

It scares me how I'm still not anxious about examinations which are round the corner. Like really really round the corner (in 2 damn weeks' time!!!!!!!!). I really ought to slap myself awake now, no?!

It's Valentines' Day round the corner!! I never really believe that Valentines' Day is just about spending it with your special other half. Come on! Valentines' is more than just a lovers day! I may not be in the right position to say this... But seriously!!! This is a day where it gives us that chance to show our appreciation to people/friends who have been around you all these while! So suckitup people who are still single! Start showing appreciation to friends who have stuck by you all these while ;)

Always love this occasion back when I'm still in my Secondary school days. It's a much more eventful day as compared to National Day man!! This is the time of the year where everyone of us will suddenly turn really rich and turn the school into a really magnificent scene. Flowers chocolates gifts and all the joyous faces in every corner of the school... Man I really do miss my Secondaryschool days :<

So this year! I've decided to take that extra step and be the special angel in class and give my friends some goodies too! Let me be some trend setter yo (yeah in my almost final year of poly life -_-) but but but! It's better late than never right, so yes! Classmates of mine look forward babies! Stop chasing after what makes you look good. But instead, reflect. Reflect upon yourself and see where went wrong. One's character and inner being reflects how beautiful and attractive you are- Not your whole overall appearance/look.

I guess in every year there would bound to be ups and downs here and there. These makes up part and parcels of life ain't it?

I wouldn't consider encountering horrible situations in the year as that year being unlucky/shitty. If every shitty things were to be deemed as concluding your year is bad, then I'm afraid one won't have a good year in years to come. Seriously!! In fact to be really honest, I've already forgotten whatever shitty incidents that I encountered this year(serious)! So, why? Why harp unto those unhappy and dreadful little issues when you can make full use of your brain's storage space for all the beautiful memories made??

In 2011, I guess this is a year I've seen myself grow. Grown to be more sensible, grown to be more sensitive, grown to be more understanding, grown to be able to accept, grown to be able to adapt... and so on and so forth. But one thing worth the mention is I strongly believe that I've grown stronger and am able to stand firm for what I believe in. The world may have a different living style as mine, but nope. That's not an excuse for me to compromise.

I'm thankful for every single one that made my 2011 fruitful. No matter friends or family, yes, do know that you guys really made my year :)

I CELEBRATED MY 18TH BIRTHDAY! Officially legalized! And I even bought my first 4D of the year few weeks back! Hahahahahhahah

The Sister hits her big 21st this year! I'm glad that in 2011, relationships among us(Mum Dad Sis and I) got major improvements. From how we use to not talk much on how our day is/how life is going on to this day on how we can share with each other how our day went and all... I pray that this will not be the end to it. More more, God! I want more of such to come to pass I want more of Your works to be done unto my family!

Celebrated both gramps' birthday and even took polaroids with them!

I managed to keep in contact with specific few groups of friends who have been a blessing in my life!

The Lifegroup!

This is one tough year for me to adapt but nope, I wasn't torn apart and I didn't run away from it. I'm thankful that all of you guys made the effort to even make me feel comfortable in there. Tried and still trying. I believe one day all these awkwardness/discomfort will come to an end. 2012 will be a tough year ahead(no doubt), but nope! Like what I told Pei Ru this afternoon.. One of my goal for 2012 will be to not let studies/busyness be made an excuse.

Few achievements I made this year too! I managed to went overseas twice! One, to Vietnam with the school! And two, to Taiwan with the family! Made new friends, managed to get and know my relatives better. What more can I ask for?

To my dearest porky! Thankyou for being there for me always. No matter how bad my pms can go, how horrible I can name you, how ridiculous I can be whenever I'm not in the right state of mind and how rebellious I always am... Sometimes I really have a love-hate relationship with you man. Love how you are always so nice and forgiving, hate how you never throw any tantrums and always giving in to me. But whatever it is, thank you for never letting go and always being there and standing by my side. Last year's New Year' Day was the day we got back together after the ridiculous 'break' we took(if you even remember), so technically, in a few hours time........ It'd be our 'anniversary' together! Many more anniversariessssss to go! Know that I love you :)

It's really amazing, stunning, shocking, jaw-dropping how time really flies SO fast. In months to come I'll be a Year 3 student in my poly life. God, where did my 2years went to???? But anyway, thank You for blessing me with so so SO much! I pray that Lord, even as 2012 is arriving, set my heart right to even welcome this new year. Let me not go through this brand new year on my own strength but through Yours. I know 2012 won't be an easy year to go, but no! I won't fear.

Went out with Dad and Sis on Sunday to get our phone stuffs settled! Went with the initial plan to get the new bb curve, but it turns out that the singtel outlet at jurong point doesn't have stocks for it(like seriously?!?! Why would people go for curve and not the new bold??)

Felt super dejected and at the same time, i really didn't wanna head home empty handed. One, i've got a tight budget so i can't possible get phones that are too expensive!! Two, i've been waiting for dec's arrival just so i can change my phone!!!!!

But miraculously, Dad allowed me to upgrade to bb's data plan, that's why I could afford 9900 afterall. (with the dataplan, i could get bold9900 @300+ instead of the 500+ with my original plan!!)

What's more was, Dad even agree to getting the Singtel Mio Bundle promotion thingy along with the recontract of my phone! (It's not easy to convince him into getting new stuffs which is money-related, fyi!!) So now i've got the best of three worlds. Broadband @home, mio tv(more channels!!) @home, and even 3G for my mobile phone!!!! :) #blessings #blessed #supremelyblessed!

Thank You, Jesus! For blessing me with things that i could have do without. And thank You! For the big change in my family(especially Dad's change!) What more can i ask for? :)

It's scary how time's passing so fast that I can barely find time out to enjoy this phase of my life. These teenage years, are the ones I never want to look-back and regret. Regret not doing things that prolly would be ridiculous to be done when you reach the adulthood years.

Proximate 5weeks to the end of 2011. This year. This year.. What have I actually been doing?! I know this is one year that bf and I never had "bad times" in the coming 4years together. Heeee. Spent a month in Viet and 1odd week in Taiwan. Aiming for Hongkong in dec but ohwells, tight tight budget boooo

Frikin dilemma

In a frikin dilemma now because I've got approx 2weeks more to decide on whether I should pay about 200 more to get the bb9900/just get the curve9360 which is at a much affordable price(for me).

Both their specs are pretty much the same/ Cept the fact that Bold has got touchscreen, wider screen, clearer image(??!) and urm, idk much better screen details or what not lah. But seriously!! Curve9360 is really tempting my cuz it has got the earphone hole on top rather than the sideof the phone!! Furthermore the lock button is a flat top on the top of the phone and not a random sliver button on the top(much chio-er you know!!!)

Other than those, I guess bold is more attractive than curve in a sense as I pretty like touchscreen.. And and and the buttons are much softer & friendlier as compared to curve's! :(

I really need to put in a lot, ALOT more effort in my studies instead of wasting my life away. It has been a month, yeah I think it's about a month since school reopened. And currently in year2sem2's me, what have I been doing? Coming home everyday watching shows online/tv programmes, using the laptop and occasionally doing quizzes online for the sake of doing em. Other than that? Nothing. Yes, nothing else!!!!!! People prolly would say that I'm hardworking and all. But so what? Being hardworking and no results shown from it, no point right? Really. Today prolly is the worst day i've ever encountered.

It started off pretty well with me catching up with my shows and then heading to church for service... But things started to turn really bad after service ended. Plans after church was ruined cause bf couldn't make it last min(wasn't his fault cuz apparently I knew he had something on but insisted on squeezing in time in his schedule just for me :/) , was lost in choosing a place to go to get the stuffs for the sister's bd.. And all of a sudden i felt so dejected. No idea why I was so affected by such little things(PMS probably..) and to make it worse, the florist that I visited to get the helium balloon for the sister had some PRC serving me. Honestly, I didn't mind having a PRC to serve me, but with her kind of service towards customers(ME)... God, i really cannot tolerate it man!!!!! How can she blame/insist that the customers' at fault when we return with a faulty items bought from the shop when in actual fact the item is already faulty beforehand!!!!!!! Lousiest service I've ever encountered wth, I swear I wouldn't patronise that stall ever again if that woman is in the shop again >:( #angst

And you know what? To top that already very bad day I had, when I was on my way home, O met this drunkard who was peeing along the pathway as though he's at home/he owns that place. YUCKS MAX PLEASE GOSH. Tell me how my day isn't bad at all? Tell me how !!!! #facepalm

But anw, thank God it was the sister's bd. Managed to cheer up alot with the mini surprise and celebration I gave my sister after seeing her smile so happily! Hehe . Happy Blessed Birthday Jieeeeeee! ♡♥

I've watching the past seasons' RenovAID series on xinmsn.com for the past few days recently and God, I never knew there are still such unfortunate people living in Singapore now. It really saddens me SO much and makes me wanna volunteer my services for those in need even more!!! I don't really mind doing volunteer jobs and all. If you know me personally, you should know that I seldom complain/rant/whine whenever people needs my help! (Sounds like I'm boasting but seriously, I'm more than willing to help people!!!!) This may be my strong point, but meh, there are still people out there who take advantage of it, resulting it to be my weak point too...

Okay back to the point! If I ever enters a local university(please God, I really do wanna get in!!), I promise I will join whatever volunteering clubs/societies they have and really make full use of my able-body for whoever that needs help. I remember doing this 'What are your giftings' kind of quiz online and mine was Giving or something along that line. Read the whole report/analyse of it and gosh I'm amazed by how a simple online auto-generated quiz thingy can describe how one is so accurately!

Best day of my life

Yesterday prolly would be the best day of my life. Even though i was reluctant to be there for my granddad's birthday buffet cuz of a certain relative.. However it was also cuz of ytd that i manage to take photo, polariod to be exact, with my gramps!!!

It has always been a wish of mine to take photo with them since say, a year plus back? But i always didn't get a chance to as either im too shy(ya don't roll your eyes, im human too okay) or there just aren't any chances i can do it!!

I can proudly say they were the ones who made up my part of my childhood. I still remember vividly how my grandpa never fails to pick me up from kindergarten no matter rain or shine. I still remember how my grandma is always there to entertain me whenever i follow my Mum over to their place to cook dinner for them :')

They are old, but still going strong. Really love them even though i don't verbally mention it out. I should right. Life's so unpredictable nowadays, le sigh.

It's really amazing how God really has His time for everything. Shared out how I felt, how I really felt for the past, 1year today during LG and it was... pretty awkward I should say. I don't know where that courage of mine came from, I don't know why I even bother to make that extra effort into sharing life with this bunch of people. All I know is that God's plans never failed and it's now or later.

1 year ago I shared on how I understand that I know there's bound to be a reason why I'm shifted into this small group. But for the past 1year, nothing exactly happened. And yes, I was expecting the wrong things, I didn't really make the effort. I'm too used to be spoon-fed that I don't really like it when I needa go the extra mile :( But I'm glad that even with me keeping my thoughts to myself all these while, even with me enclosing myself to only myself from the world outside, God didn't give me up and still blessed me with someone I could really share out my problems with.

I prolly should really go repent on my attitude and all. But honestly speaking, who can open up to people whom yes, you know, but am not even at all close? Introvert you may say, but this is me. This is how I'm born to be. I'm born this way!!!!!

I'm back from Taiwan!! :) It's was a good trip this time round as I got to relax, like truly relax myself unlike the other previous oversea trips that I went for! Bought a good few stuffs back for myself and yeah Taiwan was really awesome. Albeit the fact that Taiwan is filled with lots of foreign cheena words that I'm unfamiliar with.. (Older version of Chinese, we learn the New version in SG!) however, my expectation of this place that I've been wanting to go didn't get ruined by it! People there are really nice, they have really better manners as compared to a certain Chinese nationals... Hahahahaha :>

Next on list to go would definitely be BKK/HongKong! Hopefully end of the year I'll be able to make a trip down to HK with my dear Joyce so I won't feel too lost there even tho people there are mostly English educated but still... (I can barely understand Canto let alone communicating with it!!)

Time for me to really enjoy my short break before I head back to work at the boring workplace again. All for the $$$ come on Liying! Go Go Go!

A summary on my really blessed 18th this year!

Even tho it wasn't a hooo-ha thingum like every other teenage's 18th. But I'm really contented with the little surprises, the good-thought of mine wanting to be a Samaritan on my birthday, having a healthy walkathon instead of getting myself all drunk and wasted on my special day yada yada... This is indeed one birthday I'll never forget, definitely ♡

Started off with the thought of wanting to donate blood 3days before my birthday over @my former school. But dang, turns out that I can't donate and hafta look at my lovelies donate only :( But owells, at least I get to visit the school I love the most #bestmemoriesever

NewYork NewYork celebration with my rooftop gang!! ♡ Pleasant surprise by them with a fourleave rocher cake! Yummiest chocolate cake I've had so far! Really blessed that all of them turned up for both my 17th and 18th birthday! ♡♡ Roam and caught up a bit with all of them ahhhhhhhhh we need more meetups pleaseeeeeeeeee!!!

This is a really random post, but with news broadcasting almost every other day on the 4 confirmed candidates for the upcoming next President election.. I really can't help but feel kinda, kinda sad that our current President's gonna step down already!!! He's someone I've seen in my various school halls for yearsssssssss. Changing that photo like sad only you know!?!!

Mr. Sellapan Ramanathan, S.R Nathan in short, is really someone worthy of our respect. Someone who lost his father at a young age of 8 (I didn't stalk him, wikipedia explains everything), earned his own education fee (he went Victoria School, mind you), went to Uni, worked in the government sectors, proved his way up to the president role.

Okay I don't know why I have such great feelings for him... Say I'm biased or what so ever. But this is prolly cause I'm born in the 90s? And he's been the long-serving(12 freaking years!!!!!) President that have been around since 1999. Personally born in 93, so by 99 I would have been in K2, which means by then I would have been slightly more clear, aware and take notice of the things around me. So obviously I would have much more impression with President S.R Nathan right?

Shall update a little since I've the feeeeeeeeeeel to. Everything you do requires that feeeeeeeeeeeeeel and motivation right. So since I've it, I shall do it !

Went on a shopping spree with the Sister on Tuesday after her work in town. It was supposed to be a day spent at home to do some hardcore revision, but ohwells. Went ICA with the intention to get my passport photo replaced, but turns out I've to get a new passport instead. Wasted trip but shopping after that changed my super ruined mood to be extremely awesome one.

Girls + Shopping = Magical fireworks!!!

BB Cream. Virgin try and my first time goes to Maybelline. Read the reviews on some magazine and it seemed good. Pretty reasonable price too. So why not? Got a few pieces of clothings plus replacement of lost make-ups too. Fruitful trip afterall!

The boy's been to my place a few times these few days. Mum dotes on him more than I do please *jealous* But it's okay! I'm pampered too! Furthermore, I get to witness how my parents love/dotes on people I love too. Approval is always nice #heartwarmingindeed :)

Mum finally cooked homemade Mee Hoon Kueh last week! At longgggggggggggg last!!! Been really long since the last time she cooked it. As far as I can remember, the last time she cooked it was prolly in my... lower secondary school years? And mind you, that's a least 3-4years ago. ZOMG

Magnum's having their 1-For-1 turn!! -Happinessoverload- A usual 4.20 stick of ice-cream now selling at half it's original price. WHY REJECT SUCH BLISSFUL MOMENTS!!!!!!

Zomg I think I really should heed my Mum's advice and go for a checkup soon or something. It's seriously not norm of me to keep feeling light-headed everytime after a run!!! I used to enjoy running and all. But this is seriously one reason why I'm kinda scared of running ever since I confirmed it last year that ever time I run, I would experience this faint-spells. It feels horrible. Like you're gonna collapse ANYTIME after your run when you're on your way back home.

Went on a venturing spree with my beloved girlfriends to City Plaza, Oakham Market, Chinatown & Bugis! Man, it was a good day walking about these places from morning till near midnight shopping laughing eating joking & practically going crazy! Gave @Fatsizedpill a belated birthday celebration @ Fish n Co and it was a success! Happy Blessed Birthday BBG, remember we luv you always!!

Have to admit that that day was pretty tiring, but much loved definitely! They're indeed a bunch of people I wouldn't want to lose :')

School's been pretty alright. Just that assignments, projects, presentations cannot maintain but keeps flooding us, drowning us in the process. Come on Liying, go go ! August will be a good month! Past few days of had been pretty pretty awesomeeeeeeee!

Met up with the boy to explore Jurong/Boonlay/Pioneer up! It was a good 2-3hours walk round the estate talking all the cock stuffs together. Who says a date must be out for a movie/spending money at some high-end restaurant?! -bleahz-

It was a good 3hours plus together even though it was a shortttttttttt meetup for me with them, but ohwell, we've made plans for the upcoming week so WHO CARES IF THAT DAY'S MEETUP WAS SHORT! What's PMS?

Premenstrual Syndrome: PMS is a disorder characterized by a set of hormonal changes that trigger disruptive symptoms in a significant number of women for up to two weeks prior to menstruation. Of the estimated 40 million suffers, more than 5 million require medical treatment for marked mood and behavioral changes. Often symptoms tend to taper off with menstruation and women remain symptom-free until the two weeks or so prior to the next menstrual period. These regularly recurring symptoms from ovulation until menses typify PMS, premenstrual syndrome.

Characteristics
Over 150 symptoms have been attributed to PMS. After complaints of feeling "out-of-control", anxious, depressed and having uncontrollable crying spells, the most common complaints are headache and fatigue. But symptoms may vary from month to month and there may even be symptom-free months. No women present with all the PMS symptoms. Characteristically symptoms may be both physical and emotional. They may include physical symptoms as headache, migraine, fluid retention, fatigue, constipation, painful joints, backache, abdominal cramping, heart palpitations and weight gain. Emotional and behavioral changes may include anxiety, depression, irritability, panic attacks, tension,lack of co-ordination, decreased work or social performance and altered libido.

So women need not feel that they are going crazy for these two weeks every month. They are experiencing an exaggeration of normal function. The physician can help the patient by first explaining the process, secondly using an anti-estrogenic hormonal medication to lower and stability the estrogen level, and lastly, using psychotropic medications for short periods of time.

Had a great time eating late lunch with the sister this afternoon, complaining to her whatever I've kept in my heart for that very long from everyone else except my boy. Back from Vietnam for almost a week!

Truly enjoyed myself in Vietnam. Breath-taking trip for me I can say. Learnt alot through this trip. Discipline, responsibility, anger management, whatever not. You name it I experienced it. Really loved this trip. Made lots of new friends in Ngee Ann too! Never regret signing up for this trip. Love it :)

As for now, school started, workload gna start piling, and guess what. I'm in Year2 now. No time to slack, no time to play too much. Need to really put in lotsa effort in my studies to pull up my grades. Can't afford to lose out too much.

A little update on my life ...

Met up with the people I love during my study break to celebrate both Zl and Joyce's birthday. Totally worth sacrificing that bit of time out to study lesser cause it's been sooooooo long since we all last met as a clique !!

So, I'm now a free bird. Like seriously free. Okay not really. The fact that I'll be flying off to Vietnam for 5weeks, and that's like literally 5/6 of my whole holidays, makes me :( Seriously hope Vietnam will be fun. Having mixed feelings for it now already. Oh man.

Leaving Singapore for 5weeks to Vietnam for some school Immersion Program thingy. Please if you so happen to chance upon this and know that you will miss me for that 5weeks, CALL ME UP AND ASK ME OUT BEFORE 12th MARCH!!!!!!!!!

Had a great Chinese New Year. Went eating and eating and eating and eating for the whole 4days break. Non-stop eating and drinking. Fat die me much. But heck, new year's meant to be jolly ain't it?

Most of the final presentations are over and done with! Now I'm left with 2exams and 2test to take wooooooooo. Officially into the 8-) mode. A final lap before I go for a 1week break, and off to Vietnam for Immersion Programme. Need to work really hard this sem's final exam!!!! Econs alone can kill, what more with ELS which i merely scored a 50% for CTs?

4 days of fun's over. Today marks the start of horror. Horror from projects deadlines, presentations, tests, examinations :(

But anyway, the remaining of February would be a good month to look forward to! With Valentines Day, Birthday, Virgin USS trip, and the 1week study break before the start of our major exams! I seriously need good time management skills

Im really excited for Chinese New Year nowwwwwwww!! One of my favourite festive seasons *grins*

But the fact that I've got 1 E-tut, 1 Quiz, and 3 presentations due right after CNY seriously turns me off. Adding on to that?! I've yet started on 1 of the presentation which prolly would be my greatest regret given the fact that that's the module I really wanna score for. Lord, give me whatever's needed to pull me through that week after CNY!

Steamboat over @Zl's was awesome. Even though I spent 2/3 the time the whole clique was there clearing up the place... But seriously. Gathering everyone today to have a meal was more than enough :) Caught TVD and ate like a pig too. FATS FTW!!

Projects deadline, lectures teaching, tutorials submission..... JUST EVERYTHING YOU GEDDIT. But it's okay! I'm soooooo over it soon!

Life's good?

Hell no. Been sick for 2weeks and visited the clinic twice. Had cough initially, and after a week of medication.... the flu bug decided to bug me which ended me up with more medication. I guess the doctor was guilty that I got worst instead of recovering. Cuz apparently, he charged me 8bucks cheaper for the second consultation. HAHAHA

Showing some signs of recovering already though. Hope I can really really get well soon! Hate to be all drowsy and moody in class. Sorry @Genvyy @liwenxoxo @hellonrdfnh @alvinhocheese @beervyn & @berdyberdberd if I was really annoying in class for the past 2weeks!

More works are piling up, due dates of projects nearing, so so so so sooooooo so much to do! BUT ITS OKAY, CHINESE NEW YEAR SHALL BE MADE MY MOTIVATION FOR NOW! Yeah baby yeah ^^
